Fraser has learning difficulties, lacked self-confidence and was undiagnosed as being autistic. This made it difficult for him to find work. Fraser worked with his Work Coach, Sana Jhina from Reed in Partnership, to identify activities that could support his job search. This included one-to-one sessions, working together to update Fraser’s CV, joining Employability Skills Training Workshops as well as having focus time to submit job applications. Sana was also able to help Fraser with assisted GP appointments for autism assessments and learning difficulties.
As a result of the workshops and his one-to-one time with his Job Coach, Fraser secured a full-time position as a cleaner for the NHS. And at almost 30 years old, he received an autism diagnosis.
