Lisa needed employment support after a lengthy career break due to becoming a mother. She joined the Restart Scheme with Starting Point Recruitment in Walsall, where she was assigned Samantha Howes as her Job Coach.
At their initial meeting, Lisa was somewhat nervous and disclosed that she occasionally suffers from anxiety. Lisa wanted to find a job that would accommodate school hours due to childcare responsibilities, having been out of work for several years to raise her first child.
Lisa was interested in lunchtime supervisor positions, which were ideal for her schedule and childcare commitments. Samantha found a role that could potentially be a good fit for Lisa, at Windsor Academy Trust.
To prepare her for the interview, Samantha assisted Lisa with interview techniques and preparation, alongside travel arrangements to the interview itself. Lisa was successful in this interview and secured the lunchtime supervisor role!
Samantha has noted a remarkable transformation in Lisa since they first met. Lisa has gained significant confidence and has undergone extensive training in her new role. She is now eager to further her career and increase her working hours.
