Colin*, a welding specialist, was forced to give up work last year due to health problems and after recovering from major surgery,he was eager to get back to work. Within a day, Colin had learnt how to earmark and apply for positions matching his expertise and experience and was offered an interview with an independent steel fabricator. To calm his nerves, he received pre-interview coaching in the lead-up to the big day and was offered a position on the spot.
Colin has settled into his new job as a welder fabricator and has been in touch saying that the Restart Scheme has given him the confidence, skills and motivation to return to doing the job he loves.
