Rhino Play Limited has grown exponentially since it started trading in Newton Abbot 5 years ago. The Company supplies playground solutions across the UK for councils, schools and the leisure industry. With exponential growth came the need to relocate, so senior management sought funding and assistance to help with the move and ensure a smooth transitional period during the following set-up phase. Previously based in converted barns within the Devon countryside, the team were also keen to find a similar ‘X-Factor’ in their new premises.
Adam Parker, the Operations Manager at Rhino Play said, “I wanted to ensure that we realized our relocation goal without too much disruption to normal business operations. The support we have received so far has helped me to manage these logistical concerns. The advice I have taken has provided me with a new mindset to know where and how to drive the business further forward.”
A Growth Hub Business Adviser, managed Adam’s business support journey, referring him onto the RDPE Growth Programme and South Devon Coastal Local Action Group funding opportunities. SWMAS Ltd have also guided Adam with regards to his manufacturing process and his grant funding application with the RDPE.
On the support he has received, Adam said: “The Growth Hub service is fantastic, I have no hesitation in recommending the Growth Hub to anybody. My adviser regularly checked in with me and always made time for my questions.”
Since initially engaging with the Growth Hub service, Adam has taken advantage of the funded business support events and workshops listed on the Growth Hub website. He said: “I will be attending more events that I see on the Growth Hub website. I have found them very beneficial for networking and business development.”
