On the 9th of August, Cara Lloyd and Yasmin Brotherson from our Employer Engagement Teams in Wales and West Central attended the launch of the Compass Group ‘Social Partner Hub’. Compass Group provide great food and support services to millions of people around the world, every day.
Held at the Imperial War Museum in London, the new Social Partner Hub is specifically for people from a range of backgrounds who are struggling to gain employment, to support them into work with Compass Group. The platform is part of Compass Group’s “Mission to a Million” commitment, which will provide support to one million people by 2030 through jobs, training, community engagement and development.

“Firstly, the venue was amazing! The Imperial War Museum is my favourite museum with me being from an ex-military background, and it was a beautiful day (the sun had finally made an appearance!).
Yasmin and I listened to presentations about how the Hub will work, along with uplifting presentations from members of staff with disabilities talking about their experiences in the workplace and the support that they had received from Compass.
The Hub will allow us to refer Restart Scheme Participants for 1-2-1 support from the Compass Team which will last up to 6 months and will end when they have successfully matched a Participant to one of their job roles and they have been offered the role.
