Daryll Jones works in Wales as a Partnership Coordinator for Serco and focuses on brokering relationships between Jobcentre Plus sites and local Welsh employability specialists. Talking about his most recent activity, he says:

“We were really excited to return to face-to-face meetings with some of our partner providers in Ebbw Vale this week. We had really productive conversations with PeoplePlus and ELITE Supported Employment and we all want to be involved in helping participants to meet the job market needs.

To expand on the narrative and explain how our delivery partners can help, the team also made Jobcentre Plus site visits to Cardiff Queen Street, Bridgend, Porthcawl & Maesteg, and look forward to securing more over the coming weeks.

We also enjoyed attending the official opening of the Queen Street site in Cardiff and meeting the new team.

Looking ahead, we are working in partnership with DWP colleagues, Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council and Coleg Y Cymoedd to deliver the Employer Support Forum, taking place on October 13th.”
