The Business and Skills team will soon launch the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority’s Talent Portal, an online resource for individuals seeking employment and businesses searching for the right skilled workers. Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire LEP (SSLEP) is announcing a Redundancy and Recruitment Triage Service for businesses and employees experiencing redundancies as a result of the coronavirus. SSLEP is working with partners to create a triage service to help those who have lost their jobs as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, back into employment.
‘Worcestershire Jobs Match’ is a new service to support all businesses across Worcestershire who are having to make immediate changes to their workforce as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, and for individuals who find themselves being made redundant or looking for work as a result of the current circumstances.
Over 6,000 female learners have now taken advantage of funded skills training to upskill and reskill within their employment setting. SSW is featured in Business Innovation Magazine's March edition. Read it here.
